Spring Celebration @ Jenifer School

No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves.

17th Karmapa blessings to the Bodhi Tree Magazine

The Bodhi Tree community Magazine was launched by the Tibetan Prime minster Dr Samdong Rinpoche and we were looking forward to seeking blessings of his holiness the 17 th Karmapa and The Dalai Lama.Although the physical copy has already been released. We recently met his Holiness The 17 th Karmapa and he generously blessed and released it in Bodhgaya. The Karmapa is the spiritual leader of the Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The present Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, age 23, is the 17th reincarnation in an unbroken succession dating back over 800 years. Karmapa literally means 'embodiment of the activity of all buddhas'. The Karmapa's purpose is to sustain the pure transmission of the Buddha's wisdom teachings, and to manifest wakefulness and unconditional compassion in a direct, accessible way.
His blessings will certainly be helpful to raise awareness about the magazine.
We regret the delay in launching it online as we were expecting Karmapa's blessings. We look forward to launch weblink www.commonweal.in in a couple of days.

Help with fundraising Ideas

Hello all,

I want to ask you personally for help. Jenifer School is a wonderful project where many people in India are putting a lot of good energy and effort. I have seen it with my eyes and since then my heart has been committed to these wonderful people. I would like to make sure that these children and their families are supported throughout their lives, and hopefully the project helps more and more people in the same social unbalanced situation over time.

I would appreciate if you could share any ideas for fundraising that works globally or if you could help with fundraising in your countries. If you have worked in fundraising before you might have a lot of good ideas. I would like this discussion to be a place to share all ideas and create good brain stroming exercise where everyone can contribute.

Jenifer´s dream is to create a sustainable project and for that unfortunately we can not do without financial support. CommonWeal is a small NGO in Bihar and does not have enough international coverage and resources. I hope you can help!

The ideal situation will be to generate a constant flow of funds into the school. That will guarantee the education, healthcare and food to children and their communities in Shripur and nearby villages.

Thanks in advance! peace, love and happiness to you all....
